# Reject a return

Refused once any item has been dispositioned: the goods have either
re-entered stock or been destroyed, and a rejected return releases its
claim on the order line.

### Path parameters

Why the return was rejected; recorded in the return's notes.

| Code | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `200` | Return rejected |
| `400` | Return cannot be rejected from its current status |
| `404` | Return not found |
| `409` | An item has already been dispositioned |
