# Agent Payments and Legacy Network Examples

> Find the current payment workflow and understand the limitations of older Commerce Network examples.

The agent-payment guide is now maintained in one place:
[Agent Payments: Build and Verify](/guides/smart-agents-usdc-guide).

The previous examples at this URL depended on a proposed wallet SDK and legacy network hosts.
They have been removed because a reader could not use them to establish a working integration.
This page does not assert a provisioned USDC network or an available wallet package.

## Select your workflow

| Goal | Guide |
| - | - |
| Inspect commerce records with an agent | [First local operation](/guides/first-operation) |
| Record payments and refunds | [Payments quickstart](/guides/payments-quickstart) |
| Check policy before an action | [Verified decisions](/guides/nsr-first-verified-decision) |
| Evaluate x402 integration | [x402 walkthrough](/stateset-x402-walkthrough) |
| Evaluate a CCTP-specific deployment | [CCTP prerequisites](/guides/cctp-module-integration) |

## Keep execution evidence separate

An approved decision authorizes a bounded action. A commerce record describes local state.
A provider or network result establishes whether funds moved. Keep all three identifiers in
your integration record and investigate discrepancies before retrying.

<Note>
  For an existing network integration, obtain the deployment’s contract and test environment
  from its owner. Do not substitute the Commerce HTTP host for a chain RPC.
</Note>

Continue with the [current agent-payment guide](/guides/smart-agents-usdc-guide) or use the
[support checklist](/support#report-an-api-problem) to report a specific integration blocker.
